What Recolume uses

Recolume is a personal music journal. When you choose to connect Spotify, Recolume asks only for permission to read your private playlists. Recolume uses the playlist details and related album and artist details needed to import albums into your journal.

Where your information is kept

Your journal choices, imported album details, artist details, ratings, notes, reminders, follow-up choices, and playlist labels are stored in your browser on the device you use. Recolume does not operate a database or send this journal information to a Recolume server.

Spotify sign-in information is kept only for the current browser session. Recolume sends Spotify requests only to Spotify’s services to connect and read the playlists you select.

Disconnecting and deleting information

Disconnect removes Recolume’s saved Spotify sign-in information immediately. It keeps your local journal, including imported Spotify details and playlist labels, so your personal journal remains useful after you disconnect.

You can remove individual albums from Recolume, clear your Inbox, or clear Recolume’s site data in your browser settings to remove its locally stored journal information from that device.

Sharing and tracking

Recolume does not sell your information, use advertising, or use analytics or tracking services.
